Below, we caught up with Stewart ahead of the big game to talk about what it was like hanging out with Charli XCX, why sheâs rooting for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, and more.
Glamour: I heard youâve attended 30 Super Bowls. Is that correct?
Martha Stewart: Oh, probably more. I donât know. I have to count one of these days. Iâve gone all kinds of placesâTampa, at least two times in Arizona, California, New Orleansâ¦. This is the second New Orleans.
What makes you keep going back? What do you love about it so much, because thatâs a lot to deal with between the travel, the securityâ¦
I am a hero worshipper, so I only watch football at the Super Bowl. Or the final, the playoffs, and the Super Bowl. Same with basketball. Same with golf. I only watch the championships. Just to keep up so I know whatâs going on. And I have so many friends that go, so we all go together. We have a great time.
Before we get more into the Super Bowl, I want to talk about this Uber Eats commercial you did. Itâs so fun. Before this partnership, were you somebody who ordered a lot on Uber Eats?
I never order in. I just donât do that. Usually if Iâm hungry, Iâll eat a can of sardines.
And now everybody can order your Caesar Superdome salad. Whatâs one thing that is a mainstay in your salads? Is there something you have to have in your salads?
The best thing in a salad is the vinaigrette. If you donât have a good vinaigrette, you do not have a good salad.
Anything youâd never put in a salad?
One thing that I donât want in a saladâ¦I donât like garbanzo beans.
Tell me about teaming up with Matthew McConaughey and Charli XCX. Had you ever met them before, and what was it like?
Iâve known Matthew, but I really didnât know who Charli XCX was, and we had so much fun. Sheâs great. Sheâs very talented. I didnât know she was the brat. We had a lot of fun working together. We were together all day long, and Matthew was there for three days doing that commercial. Just look at all the parts he has in that commercial. Look how many scenes he has. Itâs the history of the Super Bowl in 60 seconds. Itâs pretty good.
