Dan Voss will succeed his father in the CEO role, and will also serve as secretary, according to the release.

Miron Construction operates in a variety of different construction verticals that include commercial work, government jobs, healthcare facilities and retail establishments, per its website. The contractor has also performed field and fan area improvements at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the home of the NFL’s Green Bay Packers, since 2011.

Voss Jr. has co-led the family-owned Miron Construction since 1979, per the release. Greg Kippenhan and Pat Voss originally worked along David Voss Jr., and in 2003, Kippenhan’s son, Tim Kippenhan, assumed co-ownership with Voss Jr.

In his new role, Voss Jr. will continue to support, guide and influence various areas of the business as part of a multi-year succession plan that began over the course of the last two years, per the release.

“Miron Construction has been my life’s work, and I am infinitely proud of what we’ve built,” Voss Jr. said in the release.

In addition to Dan Voss becoming secretary and CEO, other executives will take on additional leadership roles:

  • Tim Kippenhan – president and chief operating officer.
  • David Voss III – vice president and chief construction operating officer.
  • Dean Basten – treasurer and chief financial officer.

The family-owned firm opened in 1918. Patrick G. Miron — Voss Jr.’s maternal grandfather — founded the company as a local masonry shop, per the release. It will continue its roots via Dan Voss and David Voss III, also David Voss Jr.’s son.
