Patrick Mahomes is undoubtedly one of the all-time great NFL quarterbacks. But there’s one thing he isn’t that great at: being a hairstylist.
At least, that’s according to his wife, Brittany Mahomes. The soon-to-be mom of three posted the hilarious (and painful) result of asking the Chiefs star to help her take out a complicated hairstyle. Per People, the snap showed a mass of small elastic bands and a fair amount of his wife’s blonde locks tangled up in there (ouch).
“Does anyone else’s husband go to take their hair out and thinks he can just pull these right out of your hair?” she wrote. “‘Cause, yeah, mine did that last night.”
Don’t worry though, the top-tier WAG recovered well enough to rock a chic and classic cold-weather gameday fit, styling her hair in a smooth blonde waves adorned by a pair of white fur earmuffs for Sunday’s Chiefs game versus the Cleveland Browns.

Unfortunately, Patrick Mahomes had to leave the game early because of an injured ankle (the Chiefs still won 21-7). In a press conference after the game, the quarterback says he’s focused on feeling better by next week to face off against the Houston Texans.
“… You just do what you have to do to get back, and I think that’s the most important thing,” he said according to ESPN. “And now we just get back to the rehab part, the treatment part, and try to get ourselves ready on a short week against a good football team.”
