It’s a good day to be a Bravo superfan! The network just announced that there will be a Real Housewives of Rhode Island coming soon, and we immediately have so many questions. Do we have a cast? Have they started filming? When will this premiere? And most important, what will they hold in their intro?!
After all, it’s been years since Bravo launched a new Real Housewives franchise. The last was The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City, which premiered in 2020, and is now considered one of the strongest shows in the entire Bravo lineup. We love our long-running Housewives, but true heads know there’s nothing quite as exhilarating as the promise of a fresh cast in a new city.
So, here’s what we know about The Real Housewives of Rhode Island.
Who is in the RHORI cast?
No cast announcements have been made as of yet, but, based on the new franchise description, we can infer that there is a cast in place. The announcement reads, “Set against the shores of the Ocean State, The Real Housewives franchise expands into the world of a tight-knit circle of Rhode Islanders who have deep community roots and families that go back generations. With aspirational lives, thriving businesses, and tangled family dynamics, these decade-long friendships prove that in a state this small, there’s no escaping your past…or each other.”
Sounds very New England.
Has it started filming?
Our best guess is yes, but that’s just a guess as there are no official details yet.
When will it premiere?
According to Bravo, the new series was ordered “for the upcoming year,” so hopefully that means some time in 2025. The other new shows coming to the network include a reboot of Ladies of London, The Valley: Persian Style (working title), and Wife Swap: The Real Housewives Edition.
